Thing is that Damon just was there on this street enjoying looking the sky but then his soul finally found his other part : Elena. She just appeard like this by being at the telephone with bonnie and then they metDamon laying on the street (1x01, 2x12, 3x22)
I miss Damon’s little personality quirks like this (minus the fact that he killed people). :)
